This website is operated by Vistara Charitable Trust, a not-for-profit charitable trust. The trust’s registered name, address and contact details are on our contact page. By using this website or donating through it, you agree to these terms.
Donations
All payments made to the trust through this website are voluntary donations for its charitable objects. The trust does not sell goods or services, and a donation does not entitle you to any goods, services or benefit in return. You choose the amount you give. Details are on our donations & payments page.
You confirm that the money you donate is your own or that you are authorised to donate it, that it comes from lawful sources, and that the details you give are accurate. The trust may decline or return a donation it cannot lawfully accept.
Payments
Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (Paytm Payment Gateway), by UPI apps and by banks, under their own terms. A donation is confirmed only once the payment provider confirms it. The trust is not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, payment networks or payment providers. If a payment is pending, or you think you paid twice, contact us before trying again.
Cancellations, refunds & receipts
Donations are generally final. Duplicate, failed or incorrect payments are handled under our cancellation & refund policy. Receipts and acknowledgements are covered by our receipts & delivery policy. A tax-deduction benefit applies only where the trust holds a valid registration for that purpose and the receipt issued says so.
Using the website
Do not misuse the website, interfere with how it works, try to access information that is not yours, or use it for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose. The website’s content, name and logo belong to the trust and the Vistara Group and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
Liability
We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, the trust is not liable for any indirect loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where the trust’s registered office is located.
