What you pay for
Vistara Charitable Trust accepts voluntary donations only. The trust does not sell goods or services on this website, and a donation does not entitle the donor to any goods, services or other benefit in return.
Donation amounts
You decide how much to give. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). The trust does not add any fee or charge on top of your donation. Your bank or payment app may apply its own charges under its terms.
How to donate
- Donation form: fill in the pledge form on our homepage with your details and the amount. Our team will contact you to confirm and share secure payment details. Always check that the payee name shown in your payment app is Vistara Charitable Trust before you confirm.
- Online payment gateway: where online donation is available, payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner (Paytm Payment Gateway). You can use the methods it offers, such as UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets.
The trust does not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password. These are entered only on the payment provider’s secure pages or in your own payment app.
Payment confirmation
A donation is confirmed once the payment provider confirms that it succeeded. If money is debited but the donation is not confirmed, do not pay again straight away. Keep the transaction reference and contact us. Failed transactions are usually reversed to your account by your bank or payment provider.
Receipts & tax benefits
You can ask for an acknowledgement of your donation. See our receipts & delivery policy for how it is sent. A tax-deduction benefit applies only where the trust holds a valid registration for that purpose and the receipt issued says so.
